Our Purpose
The primary purpose of “Our Historical Past” and Our Historical Past Media (OHP Media) is to unveil aspects of our untold American history. This is done through the essence of those who actually lived it in an entertaining and enlightened way. We are able to accomplish our goal via the medium of broadcasting - both on-air (radio) and on-line (podcasts).
The "Our Historical Past," broadcast is heard in multiple markets and gives the listening audience a direct way to connect and to touch our American history. Whether this is done by listening on-line or on-air, "Our Historical Past" is the next best thing to being there. It’s like "touching" historical America.
Our broadcast includes interviews with historians, researchers, historical re-enactors, college and university history professors, and published authors. The program includes recommendations for DVDs and books by noted writers concerning various historical topics.
